FIA GT1 World Championship
3./4. February 2010

In Portimao (POR), Algarve the pilots of the Swiss Racing Team had their first chance to test their NISSAN GT-R’s. Karl Wendlinger (AUT), Henri Moser (SUI) and Max Nilsson (SWE) were able to show a good pace despite adverse weather conditions. “Both NISSAN’s are perfect, and the drivers are handling them very well“, says managing director Othmar Welti.

“Karl Wendlinger and Henri Moser are working together very well. It is perfect that they are almost of the same height, which will be an advantage in the driver change.” FIA GT newcomer Max Nilsson, pilot of the second car, has already shown an outstanding performance. Cesar Campanico (POR), who is also a candidate for becoming the forth pilot of the team, shared the cockpit with the Swede as a test driver.

Within the next two weeks a decision will be made regarding the last pilot.

The initially planned Balance of Performance, during which the performance of the various racing cars is brought close together, had to be delayed due to unsettled weather. It will take place during the next test at the Paul Ricard HTT circuit in the South of France on February 21st 22nd.
