FIA GT1 World Championship

In the first race of the season in Abu Dhabi, Dutch pilot Peter Kox will share the Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670 R-SV with starting number 5 with Karl Wendlinger. “We are glad to have Peter in the team. He is a great driver and has a lot of racing experience in Lamborghinis. He is a big asset for all of us,” says Swiss Racing team principal Othmar Welti.
Peter Kox is a successful GT pilot and competed in all 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship races in the Murciélago. He knows the car and most of the racing tracks.
The team’s fourth pilot, who will share the cockpit with Swede Max Nilsson, will be announced shortly.
The first racing weekend will take place in Abu Dhabi on March 25th/26th, 2011. German TV station Sport1 will broadcast live on Saturday from 10:10 to 11:20 o’clock (CET) and from 16:40 to 18:40 o’clock (CET).
